Analytics & Reporting
In-Sys is proud to offer Business Analytics from Microsoft.
Business Analytics includes a broad range of flexible, customizable reporting
options—from advanced consolidation analysis to simple reporting
requests—transforms data into valuable information and makes it accessible to
decision-makers across your company.
Business Analytics helps you make smart business decisions
without wasting time. You get a good overview and the ability to dig into
details. Every time a transaction is posted—anywhere within the system—all
customer, vendor, account, and item totals are given in real time. You can zero
in on details by filtering information (for example, by date, account, or item
number), report and analyze based on an unlimited number of criteria, and always
rely on the accuracy of the information.
What's more, Microsoft Dynamics-NAV helps you manage a broad range of
business areas according to your particular needs. You can add functionality as
you need it, and grow at your own pace.
Using Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), Business Analytics
organizes all of your business data into information units, called "cubes."
Using a familiar Microsoft Outlook®-style interface, Business Analytics presents
this information to your desktop where easy-to-use analytical tools allow you to
carry out targeted analysis that is tailored by you, for you. Business Analytics
can help you gain insight into your business and sharpen your competitive edge
with smarter, faster decision making. Business Analytics is highly scalable and
is suitable for any company that uses Microsoft Dynamics-NAV.
Tight
Integration with Microsoft Dynamics-NAV
Business Analytics is
integrated with your existing Microsoft Dynamics-NAV system, giving you the full
benefit of access to your stored data. Pre-defined functionality in Business
Analytics includes Finance, Sales, CRM, Supply Chain Management, and Project
(Jobs).
A Data Transformation Services (DTS) package pulls data from
Microsoft Dynamics-NAV into SQL tables. From here, other DTS packages transform and
structure these tables into multidimensional cubes in Microsoft SQL Server™
Analysis Services. These cubes represent the five main categories mentioned
above. Using Business Analytics as a front-end tool, you start with these
cubes and build simple or complex queries within each of the categories.
Easy
Implementation
For most businesses, it is possible to install Business
Analytics in a matter of hours. Your In-Sys team can assist you with
implementation and customization as necessary. Our goal is to equip you to begin
analyzing your business information quickly, increasing your chances for
success.
